Pool

The oval 14x5m heated pool  is surrounded by a terrace with teak tables & chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas, gardens and a stunning view over the valley.

Facing south east the pool area attracts the early morning sun and retains its warmth and rays until early evening.  The shallow end has 3 integral Roman style steps across the width of the pool - perfect for young children or adults with reduced mobility; the deep end allows swimming or space for relaxing on inflatable lilos. The pool is alarmed and is completely enclosed by the wall of the gite, its own flower borders and safety fencing enclosing it along the remaining 2 sides. This is a salt water pool which those with sensertive skin will especially appreciate.

The owners live on site and may occasionally use the pool but will always strive to respect the privacy of guests during their stay

Welcome Food Pack

Probably the most irritating thing about self-catering (apart from incomplete inventories and idiosyncratic cookers) is buying basic commodities such as salt in 500g packs because that is the smallest sold and using 3 tsps in a fortnight! To counter this we provide complimentary basics which includes; salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sugar, washing-up liquid, dish cloth, sponge scourer, toilet roll (2) rubbish bags (5), liquid hand soap,

 

Food Parcel Option

Supermarkets and local stores are easily accessible however if your flights / journey mean you will be arriving at lunchtime or late when the shops are shut you may wish to order a food parcel to keep you going until it is more convenient to go shopping for yourselves. It will contain (in addition to the complimentary supplies):

• Tea bags (Tetley pack of 25)
• coffee (Nescafé 50g)
• 1L fresh semi-skimmed milk
• fresh baguette
• 6 eggs
• selection of cheese (maximum 4 types 100g each)
• kitchen rolls (2)
• seasonal fruit (1kg)
• bottle of water (1L)
• 1L of orange juice
• corn flakes (375g)
• butter
• pasta (250g)
• apricot jam (standard jar of Bonne Maman or similar),

Cost for this is £25 - payable with booking. (If exact items above are unavailable an equivalent / substitute will be present).

 

In-House Dining

If during your holiday you plan a long day out or you would simply like to relax, be pampered and enjoy your evening; we would be pleased to arrange dinner for you . It would be locally sourced fresh food and could include; a starter, main course, cheese & / or dessert. Menus are available within your holiday gite and are rated by the level of audience participation required - ranging from unwrapping serving platters to oven operation!

Prices vary from €18 - €25 per person (children's portions are half size and half price).

 

Smoking

There is a no smoking policy inside the house, if any of your party must smoke, please do so outside.
